Michael began his investment industry career in 1997 and joined Stifel in 2021. Prior to joining Stifel, he began his career at A.G. Edwards through the world of stocks, mutual funds, annuities, and fee-based advisory services. Michael also worked at AXA Advisors, where he specialized in life insurance and annuities, and Valic Financial, where he specialized in 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans, serving school districts, hospitals, community colleges, and health care groups. In addition, Michael spent time being a pastor at church, leading Christian schools and creating plans designed to reduce debt and create income streams to strengthen organization finances. He spent more than 20 years coaching youth athletics and adult leadership development in the non-profit space. 

Michael earned a B.S. in Science Secondary Education (Biology) from Oral Roberts University and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses (including annuities). Outside the office, he enjoys serving the church as an ordained minister.
